IT Infrastructure Engineer
Jennifer Temps is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure operations within a large-scale technical environment in New York City. This role is ideal for a highly skilled technology professional with experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, performance monitoring, and project coordination.
Your Tasks
- Support daily infrastructure operations and monitor enterprise systems performance
- Analyze infrastructure capacity, performance, and system availability
- Assist with hardware and software upgrades, maintenance, and lifecycle planning
- Support disaster recovery planning and infrastructure resiliency initiatives
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, procedures, and technical records
- Coordinate with vendors, technical teams, and operational staff to resolve issues
- Assist with implementation of new technologies and infrastructure solutions
- Monitor system performance and escalate critical issues as needed
- Support cloud, datacenter, storage, and enterprise infrastructure operations
- Participate in project planning, implementation, and technical coordination
- Maintain compliance with organizational technical policies and procedures
Our requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and relevant infrastructure engineering experience
OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, datacenter, or cloud environments
- Strong understanding of systems administration and infrastructure operations
- Experience with Microsoft Office and technical documentation
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IBM mainframe systems, z/OS, AIX, Linux, or Unix environments
- Experience with enterprise storage systems and infrastructure monitoring
- Experience managing or supporting large-scale IT infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of disaster recovery and capacity planning
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Salary range is between $75,000.00 to $180,000.00 annually, (commensurate with experience).
