Social Worker
Jennifer Temps is seeking a dedicated Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to support an adolescent interdisciplinary treatment program serving youth in grades 6–12. This role focuses on therapeutic services, family engagement, and coordination with schools and community providers.
Your Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a caseload of approximately 8 adolescent clients
- Participate in interdisciplinary admissions with family, medical staff, and school representatives
- Provide weekly individual therapy
- Facilitate daily group therapy sessions
- Provide family therapy and crisis intervention as needed
- Coordinate and lead transition meetings with families and school districts
- Collaborate with schools, agencies, and community providers
- Participate in weekly treatment team meetings
- Advocate for youth and families to access supportive services
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support discharge planning and follow-up care coordination
Our requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Active New York State LMSW license
- Experience working with adolescents and families
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience with behavioral health or psychiatric populations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in OMH, inpatient, or structured outpatient programs
- Experience coordinating with school systems and community agencies
- Crisis intervention experience
