Administrative Assistant
Jennifer Temps is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for a Binghamton, NY assignment. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to manage multiple administrative and financial tasks in a structured office environment.
Your Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and Forms
- Provide virtual support using Zoom and Microsoft Teams
- Manage multiple assignments and meet strict deadlines
- Monitor vendor accounts and process payments/cancellations
- Maintain daily and weekly payment logs and spreadsheets
- Perform data entry and electronic record management
- Handle physical file folders (lifting and filing)
- Provide reception desk coverage (answering/transferring calls)
- Process incoming and outgoing mail
- Scan, fax, and email documentation
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Learn and utilize ACCES-VR-specific computer systems
Our requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and Forms
- Experience managing spreadsheets and vendor payments
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift and file physical folders
- Must comply with background screening requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a public-sector office
- Familiarity with ACCES-VR systems
- Experience handling vendor account reconciliation
