Your Tasks

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and specialized financial reports (e.g., cash receipts, aging schedules)
  • Perform complex account reconciliations and variance analyses

Systems & Procedures

  • Design, implement, and revise accounting systems, controls, and procedures
  • Ensure systems align with regulatory and reporting requirement
  • Support system enhancements and process improvements

Compliance & Auditing

  • Audit contracts, vouchers, and financial filings for accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and applicable laws and regulations
  • Support internal and external audits and respond to audit inquiries

Advisory & Interdepartmental Support

  • Serve as a subject-matter resource to departments on accounting and financial matters
  • Respond to internal and external financial inquiries
  • Provide analytical support for management decision-making

Supervision (as assigned)

  • Provide guidance and oversight to junior accounting staff
  • Review work for accuracy, compliance, and timeliness

Our requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 24 credit hours in accounting
  • Master’s degree and/or CPA license preferred and may substitute for experience

Experience

  • Several years of professional accounting or auditing experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle accounting activities

Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Experience with web-based and accounting/financial software systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
