Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Jennifer Temps is seeking compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support patient care in a healthcare setting in Batavia, NY. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide high-quality care in a structured environment.
Your Tasks
- Assist RNs and healthcare providers in assessing patient needs and care plans
- Administer medications and nursing procedures as prescribed
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, etc.)
- Observe and report changes in patient condition or response to treatment
- Maintain accurate patient charts and documentation
- Assist with examinations and treatments
- Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and medications
- Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment
- Monitor supply levels and complete requisition requests
- Support and oversee unlicensed staff as needed
Our requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Active New York State LPN license
- Minimum 6 months of nursing experience
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Ability to follow clinical procedures and maintain documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or clinical settings
- Experience working in a structured healthcare or government environment
