Administrative Assistant
Our staffing agency is seeking a professional and dependable Administrative Assistant to support a busy NYS agency located in Downtown Manhattan. This front desk position is ideal for someone with strong customer service and communication skills who can thrive in a fast-paced office environment while maintaining a polished and professional presence
Your Tasks
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Greet visitors and connect them with the appropriate host
- Assist with management of conference center room calendars
- Register guests using the building’s secure platform
- Troubleshoot minor printer issues and coordinate repairs as needed
- Assist with setup and breakdown of conference rooms
- Maintain a professional and welcoming front desk environment
- Support additional administrative tasks as assigned
Our requirements
- Associate’s degree or higher required
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Must be reliable and adaptable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Team-oriented attitude with a professional demeanor
- Business casual attire required (no jeans or sneakers)
